Study Music with Me!

As I get to know your learning style and strengths, I'll gradually introduce new challenges. In this way, we’ll build your technique on a solid foundation, while always exploring musical, beautiful playing.

All musicians develop an inner voice — it’s with us anytime we play. Regardless of talent or effort, enjoyment is what truly distinguishes those who reach their goals from those who give up. So,  I try to keep things light and fun.

Lastly, just so you know — my experience says that you'll be making pretty cello sound in your first few lessons!

As a multi-instrumentalist of many years, I'm also available to teach guitar, electric bass, mandolin, and drums. Also, I'm available to teach recording and production, transcription, mixing, arranging  all the tools I use to make this music.

"I can't recommend Ryan highly enough! As someone who started learning the cello as an adult, I was nervous about the process and the kind of teacher I would find, but Ryan makes it such an enjoyable experience. He is forever patient, encouraging, and tailors to my learning pace and style.

I'm so grateful to have found such a dedicated and talented cellist! Thank you Ryan!"
